Thrifty bargains at WalMart

We ran to WalMart yesterday evening for some gold jump rings for my chandelier project I'm working on (more about this later!). While there I had to check out the Christmas leftovers! They had so much stuff left, it was amazing.

I bought the softest throw. It's 50" by 60". Red and oh so very soft. I don't think I have ever felt a blanket this soft. You can alomost feel the softness in the picture!! I have it over the back of my computer chair. It was 50% off, only $4.00. They had red, green, white and black. I'm considering buying another one or two when everything is 75% off. Which is supposed to be the 3rd.

I also bought 2 cute little containers of treats. One is Toasty S'mores-bite sized, chocolated covered marshmallows and graham crackers! The other is Peppermint Crunch Cookies-chocolate wafer cookie covered in white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes!! We had both of these at my sister's on New Year's eve. And they are Yummy! They were $2.00 each.

Something else I bought, which wasn't on clearance, but still a great buy, were these cute little baskets. They are in my favorite colors-red, green and gold. They had several other colors as well. The large ones came 2 to a pack and the smaller ones came 3 to a pack. For only $1.00. I will probably use them in my kitchen cabinets and drawers.
