Friday's thrifty goodies!

Heather, Kamrie and I headed out early friday morning. We were on the hunt for some garage/yard sales. There were several neighborhood sales that we went to before the cold rain settled in :( Beside the things pictures below I got quite a bit of baby things for my nephew Kyle's soon to be baby! I also bought 8 really, really nice tops for only $15.00! That is cheaper than 1 top at WalMart. Most of them were from Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug! I honestly think that I bought more on Friday than I have ever bought at garage sales before.

For these next 3 pictures, I want to thank my lovely assistant, my granddaughter Kylah!!
My most expensive goodie of the day: my ND car flag...$4.00!

This cute sign is good sized and was $2.00.

Tongs for the outside fireplace. $2.00

This was probably my favorite find of the day. 3 of these lanterns for by the deck. Only $2.00 for all three! What a bargain!

2 pieces of homespun. 10 cents each.

I love, love these 2 bells. Are are quite large. 25 cents each.

6 rag balls and a little wooden sign. $1.50.

I have always loved these wooden hands. This one was only 5 cents!! I am going to put some twine through the hole and hang it somewhere!

I am going to use these hand painted garden tools to decorate a wreath. I want to hang the wreath on the chimney. 50 cents.

Wooly little lamb made from muslin strips. 25 cents.

Cure little faux nest with eggs. 50 cents. There is a clip in the bottom of it. I will probably clip it to my norfolk island pine.

Vintage kitty cat, salt and pepper shakers. Only 50 cents. My mom had a pair just like these when I was a kid.

I think these are so cool! 3 wire eggs for $1.50. I think that I am going to paint them and put something inside of them(they open).

As usual, you amaze me at what you manage to find! Things seem so much cheaper there, I think people are a little greedier here as the prices would certainly be more than those!
