Happy Birthday, Mom...

We miss you...we love you!

My mom would have been 73 today. She died way to young in 2001, at only 65 years old. It is so hard to believe that we have endured the past 8 years without her in our lives. We miss her more everyday.

I have to say that when god blessed this earth with our mother, it was the greatest gift he ever gave.

This picture was taken at Christmas time, 1999. She was making her famous fudge. She made chocolate and peanut butter! Every year she would pack it up in Florida and send it here to us in Indiana. Believe me, those packages were the most anticipated of the holiday season!

You look like your mum, which is nice, (I look like mine too!) I can't imagine how I would carry on without mine. You have your good memories.

Your mom looks like such a sweet lady. Treasure your wonderful memories of her and spend some time visiting them in your heart. I think she did a fine job raising her daughter and is so proud of you. Did you ever learn to make the fudge and would you care to share her recipe on your blog sometime.
