Scenes from Amish country
I have to say that we live in/near some beautiful country. Amish country is my favorite place to take a drive through. Shipshewana is in the heart of Amish country! The diversities of our cultures still amazes me sometimes!
Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories. Visited that area a couple of years ago on a cross country trip, after visiting family in Chicago and heading to NC. Started at Elkhart and drove all through that area of Indiana. What a wonderful experience that was. Ready to go back! ~~Annie
Thanks so much for stopping by! My friend Shayne who lives in Fremont, OH just told me about Shipshewana. I wish I had kow about it when we visited them in the fall of 09. It would have been neat to compare it to PA's Amish country!

Our cultures truly are diverse, but what a thrill to get the opportunity to experience both. Great pictures. Hugs, Marty

It is amazing, like 2 different worlds. You are so lucky to live in 'both'. xxx
