Fall is in the air...

Darn it!

While I really love fall-the colors, the smells, the weather, apples, the pumpkin patch, my birthday!, Halloween, campfires, apple cider! I abhor what comes next. Winter.

I seriously feel sick to my stomach when I think about it. We had such a hard time last winter with Richard being laid off, so much snow and record breaking cold, high fuel prices, illness...I could go on, but I won't!

I am hoping that my feelings won't ruin my love for the fall of the year. That's why I took these pictures today. I thought that if I slowly eased myself into it, I would be okay!! LOL

Anyway, enjoy!

Except for the pics at Walgreens, all of these were taken in our yard. The grapes are really getting purple!

I love Autumn, but I know what you mean about the relentless cold and dreary days of winter. It's a shame we can't have 3 weeks of snow then move onto Spring!! XXX

I also love the Fall and dread the winter. Right now, we know that we'll be spending the majority of the winter in Seattle where the winters are much milder than we had in Eastern Washington, but it does get cold here, and lots of rain! I also worry about the trailer we are renting to a friend back in E. Washington and how the pipes will hold up in the winter. My husband had to make a trip over already in the summer to deal with a broken pipe. I hope it holds up this winter!

I am with you, I love the fall, but I am not very happy with winter. I would be happy with stopping at Thanksgiving and going right back to June!
